Professional obligation
Being a translator and interpreter does not imply that one can translate just anything. As a professional linguist abiding by both the ITI and CIOL codes of conduct (see below), I only accept jobs for which I am fully competent and confident I can deliver top-class results. While I am always eager to expand my specialism, if your project falls outside my competencies I will be most happy to recommend a trusted colleague whose specialist know-how and skills are a perfect match for your needs.
